The Incumbent, Select Vestry and parish leaders are committed to uphold good practice in the parish’s ministry with children and young people.
If you have reasonable grounds for concern, suspicion or are aware of an allegation that a child may have been, is being, or is at risk of being abused or neglected in this parish, please report directly to an Appropriate person* and contact a member of the Parish Panel, listed below, who may also report directly to an appropriate person if the matter is within the panel’s remit.
Appropriate person* : .. means a mandated person as defined in the Children First Act 2015, a designated officer of TUSLA Child and Family Agency (normally the duty social worker) or in emergency a member of the Garda Siochana.
The duty social worker or local area manager may be contacted at the local Tusla Child and Family Agency office.
