Mr. Haseldine’s class were involved in an engineering project. They worked in groups to design bridges attempting to win under various categories:
Strongest Bridge
Most Beautiful Bridge
Bridge Closest to Budget
Bridge Closest to Specifications
They were given a budget with all the material having a cost. One enterprising group sold advertising space to increase their budget for material. The engineers gathered together and had their bridges tested using weights. The bridges took a lot of stress and strain. They all stood up well under the pressure but only one bridge won due to its superb construction.
Well done to all the groups who showed great team work.
