We have had a few special visits from Heritage in Schools and the senior and middle classes have taken part in botany activities. The senior class made pressings of the plants around St. Matthias and these are on display. The middle classes did a botany walk identifying the flowers and plants around St. Matthias and recorded these in their science copies. We are very lucky in St. Matthias to have such a variety of wild native plants which are flowering in later this year due to the cold spring.
